Mr. Martin Hoffmann, Mr. Jeong and Mr. Kim from
Mando-Brose and Brose Korea had welcomed us. They introduced about History of Mando-Brose,
business areas and provide meaningful information such as Job-applying system,
German firm’s cultural features.
Mando-Brose was established in 2011 as a Joint
venture company between Mando and Brose Korea. Mando is Korean automotive
supplying company which was founded by Halla group. Brose Korea opened their
business from a German automotive supplier, Brose. Like this corporate
structure, their factory is also divided in two areas between Mando-Brose and
Brose Korea.
A main product of Mando-Brose is Electronic
Power Steering Motor (EPS Motor). EPS Motor support drivers when they use
steering wheel and it improve fuel efficiency as well. This part produced in
two types. One is “C-EPS Motor (Column type)” and another one is “R-EPS Motor
(Rack type). C-EPS Motor is adopted to small and mid-size car and R-EPS Motor
is used for Big-size car like SUV.
Through the whole time, we got to know briefly
how production process is implemented. And understand that we have to be more
active and responsible person, especially if we want to get a job at European
firms.
